Welcome to declarationhoney.com (the "Site"), operated by Declaration Honey, LLC ("Declaration Honey," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
Declaration Honey is a veteran-owned, for-profit limited liability company organized under Illinois law. We produce raw, local honey and donate 100% of our profits to Hives for Heroes (hivesforheroes.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects veterans and first responders with beekeeping. Hives for Heroes is an independent organization and is not responsible for Declaration Honey's products, services, or website content.
Declaration Honey donates 100% of its profits to Hives for Heroes. "Profits" means gross revenue from product sales minus direct costs of production, including but not limited to equipment, supplies, packaging, market fees, and shipping. This donation commitment is voluntary and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion with notice posted on the Site. Declaration Honey is a for-profit LLC — purchases from Declaration Honey are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, or federal law, to attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any portion of it at any time without notice.
Declaration Honey produces raw, unfiltered honey. Raw honey may contain natural pollen, enzymes, and trace substances. Our honey is not pasteurized. Honey should not be fed to infants under 12 months of age due to the risk of botulism.
Honey may contain trace amounts of pollen and other naturally occurring substances that could cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. If you have known allergies to bee products, pollen, or related substances, consult your physician before consuming honey.
Declaration Honey makes no claims that its products can treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease or medical condition. Our products are food products, not dietary supplements or medicines. Nothing on this Site should be construed as medical advice.
Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to refuse any order.

When products become available for purchase through the Site, all orders will be subject to product availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in product or pricing information. Payment must be received in full before products are shipped or delivered.
All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, the Declaration Honey name and branding, and the tagline "Honey With a Mission — Supporting Hives For Heroes" — is the property of Declaration Honey, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Hives for Heroes name, logo, and related marks are the property of Hives for Heroes, Inc. and are used with permission. The Homegrown By Heroes label, if displayed, is the property of the Farmer Veteran Coalition and is used under their certification program.
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Hives for Heroes, the Farmer Veteran Coalition, and others. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Declaration Honey, LLC, its owner, members, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, your purchase or use of our products, any errors or omissions in Site content, or any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information stored therein. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to Declaration Honey for products in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Declaration Honey, LLC, its owner, members, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Champaign County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
